The agency headed and founded by Mr Chin Chee Hing started operations in an office located in Summit Complex, Ipoh. Ken Auctioning Agency started by receiving auction jobs primarily from the Ipoh High Court. In the following 3 years, Ken Auctioning Agency became a more prominent name in the auctioning circle. The financial institutions started to take notice of the agency’s service attitudes and c
ommitments, and the agency was then drafted into some of the banks panel of auctioneers. In 1996, Ken Auctioning Agency spread its wings and started the branch and from there subsequently, the stability of its business was established. In the following years to come, a further 2 branches was set up in Malaysia. In 2004, the Penang branch had been established and the concept of “Mega Auctions” was in full force. Ken Auctioning Agency added a new dimension to its business. The agency started to move into major events holding up to nearly 200 auction cases in a single event in 2007. In 2008, plans were mapped out by Mr Chin to further deliver its promise to upgrade the service levels of the agency. Considerate and meticulous planning led to the idea that a marketing office had to be set to further enhance the service levels to the general public. So in 2009, Ken Auctioning Agency finally bought its own 3-storey business office in Ipoh. The idea was to have a totally autonomous marketing office to cater for enquiries on auction properties. The office setup was to incorporate an Auction Gallery, a full-fledge sales team and a legal team to help serve the public. The Auction Gallery would be able to hold a seating capacity of at least 70 people to the option of upgrading its usage for future advancement of newer technologies like WIFI, Broadband access for future web enhanced auctions, projector wall and etc.. With the upgrades are also expansion plans for the Selangor and Taiping offices (due for completion in June 2010), the set up for diversification into the international arena is close at hand.
