Great Eastern 医药卡如今将接受Covid-19 政府与私立医院的索赔，唯必须是medically necessary (category 3 and above) 及 reimbursement basis (pay and claim)。

同时，Great Eastern也保证：
1. Covid-19的赔偿将不会影响保客未来的医药卡起价 (medical repricing)
2. Covid-19的赔偿将不会减少保客医药卡的 annual limit 及 lifetime limit
3. Great Eastern 不会就这项保障征收额外的保费或增加保险费用

此保障将从18.08.2021开始， 持续至2千万总索赔限额用完为止。

covered from 36 CI to 45 CI at NO additional cost for both new business and in-forced policies for current selling CI products effective 29th January 2019.
