Along comes a dj......... who is invited to a club:
When he arrives, the owner tells him: I know you get €400 a night but I don't think you are worth that much money; the teams are mine, the club is mine and you only come to put music in my club, what I can afford is €75. If you need.
The DJ replies:
Okay fine, by the way, how much is a bottle of "black label"? The club owner tells him: 200€ euros and the "DJ" says: well, bring me a bottle I give you 23 euros. Which is what it really costs....
What??? says the club owner, I have to pay staff, uncorking, surveillance and basic services, not my friend, I don't give you the bottle!!!
The "DJ" replies: so if I can't put a price on your drink, why do you put a price on my work? Do you know how much it costs me to have music? How much does the SIAE cost me per year? The agibility I pay for each night? How many years did it take me to gain experience to be able to work with music? How much does a computer, laptop, controller, case, internet, hearing aids, usb stick, etc. cost?
We "DJ's" are artists, we treat everything and everyone with respect, because a club or disco may have the latest console, audio and lighting and various amenities, but without a good "DJ" it has nothing to offer!!!
