The municipal president of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, recognized that Mazatlán is going to be the best municipality and the best destination in Latin America.

"Everyone already knows the T-Mec railway project, which comes from Canada to Mazatlán, the Aerospace park that is already being built, the land is already being cleaned, which they made an agreement because they practically close the circuit of the arrival of the cargo of merchandise that comes from Canada, from the eastern United States that come to Mexico via Mazatlán and vice versa", he described.

"... Mazatlán is going to be the Mexican Dubai, it is going to be the best destination in Latin America".

NEW HISTORICAL MUSEUM IN MAZATLAN.

The new Mazatlán Museum, a cultural 'pearl' in the Pacific.

The museum is inspired by a shell that contains a pearl and seeks to have an educational, flexible, participatory and interactive character. It will cover topics such as the sea, environmentalism, gastronomy and the daily life of Mazatlán.

According to the official government report of the entity, the objective is "to consolidate it as one of the most iconic tourist attractions that detonate the economic potential of the port, at the same time that it rescues the culture, tradition and history of the municipality." Ernesto Coppel Kelly, businessman and member of the Mazatlán Union Trust and promoter of the project, reaffirmed the above by saying that the MUSMA intends to “position Mazatlán as a cultural mecca”.

NEW AQUARIUM IN MAZATLAN.

This state-of-the-art aquarium is a compartment within the 'central park' project that is currently underway right now. The objective of the new aquarium as said by the governor, "is to make a tourism product that generates identity and once it functions as a marine life research center for the conservation and preservation of threatened species in the aquatic sector."

The new "Mar de Cortés" Aquarium is expected to become not only the best in the country but in Latin America, and it is a project in which 1,400 million pesos will be invested in construction, maintenance and operation.
