As a CFO , I understand that behind every target achieved, decision made, and challenge overcome is a person carrying responsibilities both at work and at home

This Men’s Mental Health Month, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that financial pressure, work demands, and family expectations can sometimes weigh heavily on men, often in silence. Yet, sustainable performance and sound decision-making are only possible when we are mentally and emotionally well.

I encourage the men to treat mental health as part of overall well-being and leadership. Seeking support, speaking up, and taking care of your mental health is not weakness-it is responsible leadership.

At Pinnacle Financial Services, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes openness, psychological safety, and support-where employees feel safe to speak up, seek help, and be heard without fear or judgment.

Your well-being matters-not just to your work, but to your families, your communities, and the future we are building together.

Dear Colleagues, Clients and Partners,

As we observe Men’s Health Month, I wish to take a moment to address an aspect of wellbeing that is often overlooked in professional settings: mental health.

At Pinnacle Financial Services, we recognize that sustained performance and sound decision-making are rooted in overall wellbeing. The expectations placed on men, professionally, socially and personally, can create silent pressures that impact health, relationships, and productivity.

I encourage every man within our organization and across our network to prioritize self-care without reservation. Seeking support, engaging in open conversation, and checking on the wellbeing of colleagues are not signs of weakness. They are demonstrations of accountability, resilience, and leadership.

Our commitment extends beyond our walls. To our clients and partners, we reaffirm that your wellbeing matters to us. Financial health and personal health are interconnected, and we are dedicated to fostering an environment where both can thrive.

Should you or someone you know require support, please utilize the professional mental resources available. Reaching out is a responsible and courageous step.

Thank you for your dedication and for contributing to a culture at Pinnacle where people are valued as much as performance.

Message from the Chief Risk Officer – Men’s Mental Health Month

Team Pinnacle,

As Chief Risk Officer, I spend a lot of time talking about risk: credit risk, operational risk, financial, tech risk...etc. But the biggest risk to any organization, and to any of us, is the one we don’t talk about — the risk to our mental health.

This month is Men’s Mental Health Month. And I want to be direct: strength isn’t about carrying everything alone. Strength is knowing when to ask for help, when to pause, when to say “Iam not okay.”

In microfinance, the pressure is real. We chase targets, manage collections, handle client stress, fix system issues at awkward hours. That pressure builds. And men, we have been taught to “tough it out.” suppressing or ignoring painful emotions is not true emotional strength. It’s a liability.

So, my message is simple:

Check in on each other. If a colleague goes quiet, misses targets they usually hit, or just seems “off,” ask how they’re doing.

Normalize the conversation. Talking about stress, anxiety, or burnout doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human, and it makes our teams safer.

Use the support available. If you need to talk, talk to someone you trust — a friend, family, your supervisor, or a professional. Your health comes before any KPI.

At Pinnacle we manage risk by identifying it early and taking action. Let’s apply that same principle to ourselves. Early action on mental health prevents bigger problems later.

Because Pinnacle is only as strong as the people in it- so is the case with the world.

You are not alone.
