Continental Holdings Plc becomes the largest capital raise on the MSE
Continental Holdings Plc (CHL) listed its ordinary shares on the Main Board of the Malawi Stock Exchange on 10 August 2026, following a successful IPO that raised MWK135.4 billion (approximately US$77.33 million) the largest capital raise in the history of the MSE.
Under the theme “Rooted in Strength. Growing with Purpose,” the listing expands investment opportunities, broadens ownership, strengthens corporate governance, and positions CHL for sustainable growth while contributing to the continued development of Malawi’s capital markets.
