📢 Individual Income Tax e-Filing 2026 is now open

The deadline may seem some distance away—but when it comes to tax compliance, early preparation makes all the difference.

Individual taxpayers are required to file and pay any tax due by 15 October 2026.

You may be required to submit a return if you:

✅ Earned net income exceeding Rs 500,000
✅ Had gross business income exceeding Rs 2 million
✅ Received employment income subject to PAYE
✅ Received income subject to TDS
✅ Had chargeable income
✅ Were self-employed during the income year

Avoid the last-minute rush. Review your records early and ensure that your return is complete, accurate and submitted on time.

📢 CAREER OPPORTUNITY | FULL-TIME ACCOUNTS CLERK

Your next move counts.

Parker Russell Mauritius is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be assigned full-time to a client’s premises in Ébène and will support the client’s daily accounting and financial operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

✅ Recording and processing daily accounting transactions
✅ Performing daily bank, and other account reconciliations
✅ Maintaining and reconciling debtors’ accounts
✅ Inputting, reviewing and analysing financial information
✅ Monitoring receivables balances
✅ Monitoring payroll and commission payments
✅ Preparing schedules and supporting monthly closing procedures
✅ Preparing and submitting statutory returns within applicable deadlines
✅ Maintaining complete and properly organised accounting records
✅ Assisting with management reports, audits and other accounting assignments
✅ Liaising with Parker Russell Mauritius
✅ Performing other duties normally associated with the position of Accounts Clerk

Candidate profile:

🔹 Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
🔹 Previous experience in a similar accounting position
🔹 Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
🔹 Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities
🔹 High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
🔹 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
🔹 Good communication and interpersonal skills

🕘 Employment basis: Full-time assignment at the client’s premises
