At BDO Mauritius, we strongly believe in bridging the gap between academia and industry through meaningful collaboration and experiential learning opportunities.

We were pleased to collaborate with Middlesex University Mauritius on a joint initiative focused on “Bridging Academia and Industry through Experiential Learning.”

As part of this engagement, Lotus Dzeke, Partner & Head of Technical, and Hamza Dawood, Partner, had the privilege of serving on the jury panel, where students from Advertising, Business Management, and Accounting presented innovative solutions to real-world business challenges.

The initiative highlighted the value of cross-disciplinary teamwork, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving, essential skills for the future of business and the accounting profession.

Today, our team came together to mark Eid with a warm and festive lunch. The event was brought to life with stunning ethnic outfits, shared laughter, and a true sense of community.
