As another year draws to a close, Grit will be taking a short break to reset and recharge for the year ahead.

Our offices will be closed from 22nd Dec to 9th Jan

We’re thrilled to see Shevira Bissessor, COO of our development subsidiary, GREA and head of ESG at Grit invited to judge the UCT GSB Property Development Programme, Class of 2025 - an initiative shaping the next generation of property leaders.

We’re excited to share that our COO, Shevira Bissessor, has been invited to lecture and join the Judging Panel for the University of Cape Town’s Property Development Programme once again.

As a long-standing lecturer at UCT GSB, Shevira brings deep industry insight and pan-African experience to the classroom, bridging theory with real-world development across healthcare, ICT, retail, corporate accommodation and commercial infrastructure.

Her involvement in this programme reflects GREA’s commitment to shaping the future of African real estate through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and impact-led leadership.

At GREA, we’re proud to support Buildher- an inspiring initiative that equips women in Kenya with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to succeed in the construction industry.

They recently released their 2024 Annual Report, highlighting some remarkable impact:
• 3 to 6x income uplift within the first year of training
• 89% job placement rate, up from previous years
• 95% NITA certification pass rate, the highest yet
• Flood response impact reaching 150 women and over 600 dependents
