Three days of learning, exchange and collaboration came to a close with the final session of our Green, Social and Sustainability (GSS) Bonds Executive Workshop on 10 April 2026 at Mauritius Finance.

Day 3 focused on market ex*****on and pitching — from understanding the role of underwriters and stock exchanges, to finalising bond frameworks and stepping into the spotlight for the Investor Pitch Competition. A fitting conclusion that brought together everything explored over the course of the programme.

Across these three days, the Mauritius Finance office came alive with thoughtful questions, dynamic discussions and meaningful connections. There were moments of reflection, a touch of tension ahead of the final pitches, and plenty of shared learning and camaraderie along the way.

We extend our sincere thanks to the specialists from the IFC - International Finance Corporation for their valuable contribution, and to all participants for their engagement, curiosity and commitment throughout the workshop.

The programme concluded with a closing ceremony and certificate presentation marking not just the end of a training, but the beginning of new opportunities in sustainable finance.

In a world shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, Mauritius continues to stand out as a jurisdiction defined by stability, resilience, and trust.

What began as an International Women’s Day film bringing together ten inspiring women leaders evolved into something far more meaningful. It became a conversation about an industry, a nation, and the responsibility we share in shaping its future.

Because beyond the narratives, Mauritius offers substance.
As an International Financial Centre, it is anchored in a robust network of global partnerships spanning 54 Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, alongside strategic frameworks such as the CECPA with India, the African Continental Free Trade Area connecting 55 countries, the CEPA with the UAE, and the Preferential Trade Agreement with China.

But more than agreements, it is the people who define the jurisdiction. A deep pool of skilled, globally minded professionals continues to drive innovation, compliance, and growth across sectors.

Mauritius is not just a jurisdiction of opportunity; it is a jurisdiction of certainty.

And in times like these, certainty is what the world needs most.
Now is the time to shape what comes next.
