❣️❣️ Skin Tags
Currently, there is no topical cream that can remove skin tags. If you want to remove them, it’s best to visit a professional with the proper tools.
❣️ In medical terms, skin tags are called acrochordons or fibroepithelial polyps (FEP). They are small, benign growths that usually appear on thin skin, either with a narrow or broad base. Most are longer than they are wide, often hanging and slightly raised.
Skin tags can develop for various reasons, including:
• Obesity
• Friction or rubbing on certain areas
• Metabolic issues
• Diabetes
• Pregnancy
• Chronic illnesses
They are more common with age and typically appear on areas with frequent friction, like the neck, chest, armpits, and groin. While they can affect appearance or cause discomfort, they are not known to cause serious health problems.
If needed, you can visit our salon to have your skin tags safely removed.
💡 A study published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology suggests that skin tags may sometimes indicate underlying cardiovascular health issues, so they can serve as a signal to check your heart health.
