🤝 In preparation for the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), to be hosted in Mongolia in 2026, Gerelmaa Batchuluun, CEO of Orda, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Green Lab / Үндэсний Ногоон Лаб program, an initiative by the Office of the President of Mongolia. Through this collaboration, we will work together to establish foundational standards for the program and strengthen the capacity of selected projects. Our focus will be on structuring data and evidence to meet international investment standards and conducting preliminary assessments to ensure these initiatives are investment-ready.

✨We are honored to contribute to the development of sustainable, long-term green projects that protect Mongolia’s natural resources and support national strategies against climate change.

🌿 The National Green Lab and Orda LLC Sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

The National Green Lab, initiated by the Office of the President of Mongolia for the 2026 UNCCD COP17, is jointly implemented by the Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) and the Mongolian Nature’s Legacy Foundation (MNLF). The platform evaluates, improves, and attracts investments for innovative green projects delivering measurable outcomes in sustainable rangeland management and nature conservation.

As part of this collaborative effort, Orda LLC will voluntarily provide support for the program's 2026 pilot cycle. This includes providing consultation on baseline standard setting, conducting targeted training for selected projects on how to structure data and evidence for foreign investors, and performing initial overview assessments for a select number of projects.

The MoU was signed on 3 April, 2026, by Ms. N. Suvd, Managing Director of the BCM, and Ms. B. Gerelmaa, CEO of Orda LLC.

Our CEO, Gerelmaa Batchuluun had the honor of meeting with Ms. Matilda Dimovska, Resident Representative of the UNDP in Mongolia - НҮБ-ын Хөгжлийн хөтөлбөр to present a demo of our Natural Asset Intelligence Infrastructure.

During the meeting, we exchanged thoughts that will work for strengthening the AI strategy of Mongolia making it more ethical, inclusive and sustainable. We discussed the vital importance of building a national infrastructure that leverages ethical and impactful AI systems to protect our environment and ensure the sustainable management of our natural assets.

🤖A lot of the AI conversation is still happening at the wrong level. People keep asking whether AI will replace teams. A more important question is:

What work should never have depended on human time in the first place — and what work becomes more valuable precisely because AI now exists?

I do not think the strongest banks, DFIs, and institutions will win by cutting people the fastest. I think they will win by redesigning how work gets done. That means repetitive diligence, monitoring, and first-pass analysis move to agents.

👨‍💻Human effort moves up the stack — toward judgment, negotiation, exception handling, governance, and decision-making. In other words, the future is not just automation. It is the relocation of human judgment. And that shift creates a new class of valuable roles: people who can translate policy, risk, compliance, and institutional logic into governed, machine-operable workflows.

✨That is where real leverage will sit.
The organizations that pull ahead will not be the ones that deploy AI most loudly. They will be the ones that redesign workflows so speed does not come at the expense of accountability.

In climate finance especially, that matters. Because the problem is rarely just getting an answer faster. It is making faster systems reliable enough for real approvals, real oversight, and real capital allocation.

That is the layer we care about building at Orda.

🚀We killed our MVP after NYC Climate Week.
Not because the product looked bad.

Because we realized we were optimizing for the wrong thing. Like a lot of teams, we were focused on the visible layer: better UX, cleaner dashboards, faster outputs, more impressive demos.

But in the rooms where actual decisions get made, nobody really cares how elegant the interface is if the underlying data cannot survive scrutiny.

❓The real question is much more uncomfortable:
Can this output be traced, challenged, defended, and signed off on?

That is where many AI products quietly break.
They are good enough to impress.
Not good enough to govern.

And in climate finance — and increasingly across other regulated, capital-intensive sectors — that gap matters more than people think.

The scarce asset is not more information. It is decision-grade trust.

✨That is why I believe the next valuable layer in AI will not just be built at the surface. It will be built underneath: in data governance, validation, traceability, and workflows that make outputs institutionally usable.

So at Orda, we stopped chasing what looked exciting and started building what institutions actually need: the trust layer that turns AI from interesting into defensible.

Because no serious committee signs off on a pretty dashboard.
They sign off on something they can defend.
That shift changed how we build.

Here's a concrete example: Mongolia's grasslands have enormous carbon sequestration potential. But for years, measuring soil organic carbon (SOC) was too unreliable to attract commercial investors. The asset was real — the proof wasn't.
