Junior Accountant (Tax & Corporate Compliance) – 2 Positions/ Audit In-Charge – 2 positions
Junior Accountant focusing on Tax & DICA compliance focuses on tax compliance and corporate regulatory matters (DICA filings). This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in taxation and corporate compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
• Support tax filing and compliance processes with the Internal Revenue Department (IRD).
• Assist in DICA-related matters such as company incorporation, annual returns, and others statutory filings.
• Prepare supporting documents and maintain proper client records.
• Provide support to senior team members in tax and compliance assignments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or currently studying in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Myanmar Tax Regulations and Companies Law is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Audit In-Charge position
Job Description
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Plan and conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with the engagement plan
• Provide summary of findings to team leader to prepare relevant management letters and audit reports
• Assist audit manager in risk assessment and quality assurance
• Clients’ communication for routine activities and discussion
• Proper documentation of audit working papers and relevant supporting references
• Adhere to professional auditing standards, firm policies, ISQM and network requirements through supervision of senior
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferrable
• Minimum of 3 years -experience in audit and assurance with various industries
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Good command of English is an advantage
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
Compensation
