Job Ad: Project Manager Assistant

Job Description

At Royal Gold Trading Company Inc., we believe that our team and the processes are fundamental to success. Project Manager Assistant provides support to the Team Project Manager and Executive Management Team by coordinating project activities related to any and projects. The position’s main duties are to ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved. The PM Assistant handles multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to manage to multiple projects at once in the absence of day-to-day guidance.

Objectives of this Role

• Create beneficial task-tracking systems
• Set specific project management timelines
• Keep the PM on track
• Ensuring follow up is complete

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Assists PM with the successful full cycle of assigned projects, from initiation to completion.
• Ensures all project documentation is accurate and uploaded into internal and external claims systems
• Assists project with customer communication and interactions
• Ensure work order tasks and purchase orders are completed and uploaded in a timely manner
• Invoicing is completed accurately in line with client protocols
• Support outstanding receivables
• Acts as a liaison between the customer and Project Manager to ensure project success
• Address questions/concerns throughout the project
• Perform tasks required by the Project Manager in support of project needs
• Be aware of all aspects of the scopes of work so proper assistance to the Project Manager can be provided
• Responsible to track project changes and produces updated schedules
• Review project information and compile schedules in a timely manner
• Tracks the progress of all new and ongoing projects and maintains up-to-date notes
Provide excellent customer service
Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to the hiring industry may be preferred
• Industry-specific certificates and licenses may be necessary or preferred, depending on industry
• 1-5 years of proven and successful experience in the hiring industry
• Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project ex*****on
• Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project ex*****on
• Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools
• Expert-level experience with computer operating systems, such as Microsoft and MacOS
• Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively

Royal Gold Trading Company, Inc., is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Deputy General Manager.

Ideal candidate must have experience in the commodities and trade markets with specialization in cocoa, coffee, oil palm, timber and gold. Looking for a transparent team player and innovative go-getter.

This position requires experience in office/warehouse inventory management and must support the General Manager and COO in developing efficient supply/value chains, adhere to budgetary and spending cost and have strong business acumen with excellent knowledge of the commodities markets.

Additional Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

* Reporting directly to COO and General Manager.
* Manage day-to-day office affairs.
* Developing key performance goals and strategies company growth.
* Updating inventory strategies to increase sales and manage inventory quantities.
* Building and maintaining good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors.
* Supervising department personnel and prepare contracts for purchase orders.
* Managing company supply and value chains effectively.
* Evaluating, and recommending new vendors to management.
* Knowledge of current market prices and terms.
* At least 4 years experience in commodities management.
* Solid knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices and risk management.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with partners and suppliers.
* Advanced analytical/critical thinking skills.
* Ability to train and manage subordinate personnel in various departments.
* Improving internal processes for better productivity.
* Oversee large-scale projects.
* Must be computer literate.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Starting Salary is ($ 700.00 USD) Seven Hundred United States Dollars, with potential for growth. Candidate will be on three months probation.
