Congratulations to LSEG Sri Lanka’s Futsal Team for securing First runners-up at Tech Liga ’26 Futsal tournament hosted by Sysco LABS!

Tech Liga ’26 brought together 14 teams from across Sri Lanka’s tech industry for a competitive day of futsal at Club Fusion. Special shoutout to Sharaf Hussain for being named Best Overall Player with 20 goals and three hat-tricks.🏆

Restoring forests, together 🌱
Our colleagues recently teamed up for a hands-on experience at the Rajawaka Forest Reserve in Sri Lanka, focused on forest restoration and biodiversity.

Delivered in partnership with Rainforest Protectors of Sri Lanka, and supported by a grant from the LSEG Foundation, the initiative combined learning with action. The team took part in planting native endemic species, supporting soil recovery, and learning more about the care required for ecological restoration.

A big thank you to all colleagues and partners who made this possible. It’s a reminder that even small actions, when taken together, can help protect and restore the environments communities rely on.

Through the LSEG Foundation, we support programmes that help communities build more secure and sustainable futures, and this initiative reflects that commitment at a local level. Each colleague is offered two volunteering days annually to contribute to local charities and create meaningful impact.

🧑‍🍼LSEG was proud to welcome Working Families, the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers, to the London Stock Exchange to mark International Day of Families 2026.

We were also pleased to welcome Elliott Rae, founder of the Parenting Out Loud campaign, for a discussion that explored modern fatherhood, equal parenting and how supporting working dads can drive gender equality, wellbeing and better outcomes for children.

The Market Close reflected the importance of collaboration between employers, charities and advocates in building inclusive workplaces that can help families thrive – at work and at home.

Today we announced our Q1 2026 Trading Update, achieving record performance, strong trading volumes, good momentum in subscription businesses and high pace of product innovation.

- Record revenue: Total income increased 9.8% to £2.4bn (excl. recoveries)

- Exceptional growth across Markets: Income up 15.5%

- Strong AI demand: 150+ customers connected or onboarding to our MCP server

Our leading trading venues and trusted data have been critical to customers this quarter and we are confident in the outlook and the delivery of all of our financial targets for the year.

The Transformation Summit 2026 in Colombo, hosted by the LSEG PMO Committee, brought colleagues together for a focused, in‑person forum centered on how we are evolving delivery through AI‑enabled and product‑led transformation.

The summit created space for alignment, practical learning, and open discussion. A key highlight was the hands‑on Demo Clinics run by the Digital Automation Team, offering participants the opportunity to explore real solutions across Copilot Agents, Power Platform, and Power BI, and to engage directly with the teams building and applying these capabilities in practice.

The summit reinforced our shared commitment to delivering value faster, strengthening collaboration, and applying transformation principles consistently across teams—grounded in real use cases, learning, and experience.
