Empowering Sri Lanka’s Migrant Workforce: Union Bank partners with SLBFE to promote "Ethera Diriya Housing Scheme"

Union Bank has reinforced its commitment to overseas Sri Lankan workers by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE)—formalized by SLBFE Chairman Mr. Koshala Wickremasinghe and Union Bank Chief Business Officer Mr. Asanka Ranhotty—for the "Ethera Diriya Housing Scheme" featuring the Ethera Saviya Housing Loan facility of up to Rs. 10 million with repayment terms spanning up to 10 years, complemented by a unique semi-annual interest subsidy provided directly by the SLBFE to help migrant workers seamlessly convert their foreign earnings into secure, long-term family homes.
