Our Women’s Empowerment Training Programme has successfully trained 15 women in making soap, candles and incense sticks — skills they can now turn into their own small businesses and a sustainable source of income.

For many of the children, this was the first time they had ever experienced a BBQ night. Their excitement, smiles and laughter reminded us of something we often forget:

We are grateful to have supported 25 families in Nawalapitiya who were severely affected by the recent floods.

Following days of heavy rain, flash floods brought 6–8 feet of water into their homes, leaving these families with devastating losses and, in many cases, nothing left behind.

Today, we are thankful that we could stand with them during this difficult time and provide much-needed support.
