Hiring a full-time Social Media Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling.
- Work closely with other departments to create new content.
- Formulate and implement weekly digital marketing plan and editorial calendar.
- Maintain social media management and scheduled posts.
- Create a weekly scheduled newsletter and mobile app notification content.
-Designing and writing newsletters and text campaigns
- Creating digital marketing ad campaigns that aim to maximize our online sales and awareness.
- Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications
- Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and social media management
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Knowledge in content creation for Blogs, Newsletters, Online Notifications, Press Release, etc.
- Understanding of social media metrics using ads manager; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
