- For Foreign nationals: USD 50,000
- For Korean nationals: USD 100,000

Due to changes in government policy,
foreigners are required to upload their passports to continue sending remittance.

▶ Which ID should I register?
- Foreigners: Passport
- Koreans: National ID or Drivers' License
*If you already registered one of the above IDs during sign-up, no additional registration is required.
*However, foreigners who signed up using their Alien Registration Card, and Koreans residing in Korea who signed up using a passport, must re-register their ID.

[SBI Cosmoney] Chuseok Holiday Smishing Text Message and Cyber Fraud Alert

Greetings of thanksgiving from SBI Cosmoney!

Ahead of the Chuseok holidays, there has been an increase in smishing and
cyber fraud cases impersonating parcel deliveries, consumer coupons, and more.

For the safety of your financial transactions,
please make sure to be mindful of the following scenarios:

1. Do not click on any internet addresses (URLs)
included in text messages from unknown sources.
※ You can check the safety of messages through the
smishing verification service of the KakaoTalk channel “보호나라”.

2. Notification texts about the application for
consumer recovery coupons do not include URLs.
If a URL is present, it is a smishing attempt—do not click it.

3. If you receive text messages about credit card delivery
that you did not apply for, or registered mail from a court,
this could be a voice phishing attempt.
Confirm with family or acquaintances, and then contact your card company
or the court through their official phone number.

4. In case of cyber fraud damage, please report immediately to 112 or
via the National Police Agency website.

5. Do not use illegal private loans that lure you with
phrases such as “Anyone can get a loan today.”

※ Reporting/Consultation:
Financial Supervisory Service’s Illegal Private Finance Guard
(searchable on search engines) or call ☎1332.

If you suspect that your SBI Cosmoney account information has been leaked,
please contact our Customer Center immediately (☎1800-5344).
