The Ministry of Government Legislation recently visited the Seoul Foreign Resident Center to listen directly to the experiences and difficulties faced by foreign workers 👷‍♂️👩‍🏭🌏 Topics such as labor rights, transportation, welfare, housing, and daily life in Korea were discussed in order to provide more practical and easy-to-understand information 🚍💼🏡

💵📈 "Exchange rates / Oil prices / Interest rates / Stock prices all on the rise"

With foreign investors continuing to sell Korean stocks, and U.S. Treasury yields along with oil prices moving higher, the Korean won weakened past the 1,500 KRW per USD level. 💸🇰🇷🇺🇸

At the same time, growing expectations of additional interest rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve (FRB) are increasing market uncertainty after reports showed rising inflation expectations. 📈🏦

Meanwhile, there are also positive developments in the market. News that Pakistan may help mediate possible negotiations related to tensions between the U.S. and Iran, along with reports that oil tankers from several countries including South Korea have resumed passing through Middle Eastern routes, helped push international oil prices below $100. ⛽🛳️🌏

📈 In addition, strong corporate earnings are supporting a rebound in the stock market.
