We help entrepreneurs who drive innovative and commercially viable solutions out of poverty for low income rural c

ommunities, in Southeast Asia. Uberis is latin for fertility, abundance. Our name evokes the transformative nature of our work aiming to improve the lives of disadvantaged people by growing enterprises with social intents. Uberis Capital was founded in 2012 by the founders of two long-standing and mission driven investment groups operating in Southeast Asia, Indochine Partners and Hagar Social Enterprise Group (HSEG). Indochine Partners provides growth financing to small and medium sized businesses in Vietnam and Cambodia; and HSEG is the investment arm of Hagar International, a non-profit and the largest social enterprise group in Cambodia.
