📣 CALL FOR PROPOSALS: ASTIF CALL 2026

The ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Fund (ASTIF) Call 2026 is now open, inviting researchers, innovators and science, technology and innovation organizations across ASEAN Member States to develop practical, AI-driven solutions to shared regional challenges.

🌏 Theme-ASEAN Grand Challenge: AI-Enabled Competitive and Resilient Region
💰 Total Funding Envelope: USD 1.2 million

Please note that this is the total budget for the call—not the amount available to each selected project. Applicants should consult the official guidelines for the applicable funding tracks and project-level limits.

🎯 Priority Areas: Proposals should address one of the following areas:
🔹 AI for Health, Bioeconomy and Food Security
🔹 AI for Space, Earth, Ocean and Climate Intelligence
🔹 AI for Advanced Materials and Energy Transition
🔹 AI for MSME Productivity and Workforce Development

📅 Important Dates
- Proposal submission period: 1 August–16 October 2026
- Expected announcement of selected projects: 15 February 2027
