We start the week with the PBOC's rate decision and China's GDP.

Tuesday and Wednesday, there's inflation data from Canada and the UK.

We'll end the week with U.S. inflation (CPI) and PMI figures for the Eurozone, Germany, the UK, and the U.S.

I came across this 👇 post, someone complaining that trading is gambling.

Of course, it's gambling.

When we buy & sell contracts, we're making bets, risking money in the hopes of making a return. Which, by the very definition, means gambling.

But traders, we have something that casino gamblers don't have...

We take calculated risks and work with a statistically quantifiable advantage (an EDGE), which allows us to be profitable over the long run.

If you don't have an edge, then there's no difference between you and the casino gambler.

With the EDGE, we get to be the house.

‎I created my 1st forex account in 2019. Ever since, I have been trading on and off, depending on how often I blew accounts. So far, I have been trading consistently for 2 years.

‎When I started, I had the same mentality as most of you. I wanted to buy my 1st Ferrari within a few months, and a mansion within a year. The market, however, was so quick to correct me. Taking my peanut deposits and rewarding others who were more disciplined and had invested more in the learning.

‎‎My learning curve has been a steep one. Sometimes I got burnout. So many times I wanted to give up. But if you're determined to learn, you'll have happy moments one way or another.

‎Adding capital to your portfolio is always a great moment!

If you're surprised that the market opened in gaps and continues to surge, especially the JPY pairs, well, Sanae Takaichi won the election and is set to become Japan's first female Prime Minister.
There's a high anticipation and debating whether this will kill the BoJ's October hike chances which they had set for July but paused due to tarrifs.
Pausing these hikes again in Oct could make the Yen weaker and steepen the bond curve.
