Today, FarmLife Health Services Ltd was honored to attend an invitation by Dr. Eng. Festus Ng’eno at his office in the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry to discuss collaboration opportunities under the MFC ICLIP Programme within the Mau region alongside our partners including World Resources Institute, Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation and One Tree Planted.

Our restoration and livelihood interventions in Njoro, Mauche, and Tinet areas— including avocado contract farming, riparian land restoration, financial inclusion through FarmLife Sacco Society Limited, dairy value addition, and apiculture — strongly align with the vision of the 10-year MFC ICLIP Programme.

We appreciate the leadership of Dr. Eng. Festus Ng’eno and the commitment towards partnerships that advance ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable community livelihoods within the Mau Forest Complex. 🌍🤝

As we wrap up the Peer-to-Peer Landscape Learning Exchange under the TerraFund for AFR100 3rd Cohort at Maiyan Resort Nanyuki, we leave inspired, challenged, and even more committed to restoring landscapes that sustain both people and nature. 🌱

Over the past few days, we have shared experiences, lessons, innovations, and practical restoration approaches with fellow restoration champions across the Greater Rift Valley. The conversations, collaborations, and knowledge exchange reaffirmed that lasting restoration is built through partnerships, local leadership, and community action.

We are grateful to all peers, facilitators, and partners including World Resources Institute, One Tree Planted and Vumbuzi Impact Africa Foundation for creating such a powerful learning space that continues to strengthen restoration efforts across the continent.

Together, we continue restoring degraded landscapes, strengthening livelihoods, and building resilient communities for future generations. 💚
