Ubunifu Sacco Society Ltd Ubunifu Sacco Society is the fastest growing Sacco which targets the youth in East Africa who focus on improving their savings and credit cultures.

UBUNIFU SACCO SOCIETY is a savings and credit co-operative society in Kenya, which was founded in May 22 2015. The Sacco is chaired by Sarcus Omollo and is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded with the aim of providing alternative savings and credit products that are tailored for the youth and freelancers within Kenya and the larger East African region. According to the organisation’s f

irst Annual General Meeting, the objectives for which the society is established are:
a) To promote thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and deposits and providing them with credit exclusively for provident and productive purposes at fair and reasonable rate of interest; thereby enabling them to use and control their money for their mutual benefit. b) To ensure personal socio-economic growth through the introduction of new products and services. c) To anticipate members’ demands hence develop complementary savings and credit services and other financial products as may be required by the members from time to time. d) To ensure safety and soundness of member funds through a risk management programme or appropriate insurance coverage. e) To ensure progress of members and SACCO through continuous education programmes on savings and proper use of credit, reduction of poverty, human dignity and co-operation.

Background in Computer Science, IT and programming
Prior experience in developing sacco management software
Knowledge in accounting and or finance will be an added advantage
Professional work ethic
Capacity to deliver within 30 days is required
BUDGET
Budget for the contract is KES 60,000/= and open to minimal negotiation
