PE Investments provides an opportunity to focus and unlock the intrinsic values in the target businesses .It's a great opportunity to allocate capital in opportunities that offer superior returns that may not be available in public markets for the investors (Limited Partners).

It also provides a great opportunity for investment diversification for the investors while providing capital and management expertise for growth to the target venture.

The bottom line/end game for the PE firm is to unlock "locked returns" and generate cashflows while growing the target businesses.

In the past one and half decades, private equity funds have shown great interest in the continent.
