In recent years, numerous organizations and authorities have expressed concern about the poor level of financial literacy amongst citizens, particularly given the increasing expectation that individuals
will take care of their own financial well being and the complexity of the financial markets that they must operate within. Financial literacy is now globally acknowledged as a key life skill and as an important
element of economic and financial stability and development.
