Recently made a stop at one of Machakos' most fascinating landmarks Kyamwilu Gravity Hill along the Machakos-Kangundo road. Watching a car appear to roll uphill on its own never gets old, and neither does the pride of knowing something this unique calls our county home.

Beyond the mystery and the magic, spots like this remind me of the tourism potential right here in Machakos the stories, the culture, the small businesses along this road that thrive because people keep stopping to experience it for themselves.

It deserves access to markets, finance, skills, safe spaces and policies that make it possible to grow. When women can build, hire and earn, families and communities become stronger. We should measure progress by the opportunities people can actually access.
