As the month of love draws to a close, we're doing a small recap on our founder & CEO's interview on earlier this month. So here is some info on financial infidelity and tips on how couples can avoid it.

Financial infidelity is cheating your partner on matters to do with finance. One can do this in different ways like:
* Lying about owning property/having assets
* Lying about borrowing and debts
* Lying about purchases
* Withholding financial information and hiding things behind their back

Finances are a critical component of your relationship, especially if it's a serious relationship potentially leading to marriage. It's essential that as couples grow in their relationship/marriage, they disclose information on financial matters. This will prevent finances from becoming a big issue in your relationship later on and reduce the chances of financial infidelity.

You don't have to have joint accounts and investments for everything as a couple. Still, once each of you has disclosed where they are financially, it becomes easier to start discussions on where you are as a couple, pull your funds together and set financial goals.
