Faidika Premium Sacco is seeking to recruit experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive to join the growing company.
Role purpose/Summary.
The successful candidate will work hand in hand with other departments in building Faidika Premium Sacco profile through maintain, develop client-business relationship and to help the firm meet sales and revenue goals.
Business Development Executive
Reporting to the, the SACCO Manager, the Business Development Executive is tasked with the job of helping his or her business grow; the priority is to assist the company acquire new customers and sell additional project/property or services to existing ones, analysing market trends and staff management and coordination of other Sacco activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• Aggressively sell Sacco products and services to achieve sales targets
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Collate and analyses sales figures, prepare proposals for marketing campaigns and promote new programme products and keep track of market performance.
• Prepare reports and recommendations in terms of sales and market strategies.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
• Work with the proper managers to define the go-to-market strategy and target potential customers and partners.
• Pitching Sacco products and/or services and closing on membership and savings, loans and managing existing accounts
• Generating business leads and swiftly following up on sales enquiries and sending out information
• Explore, develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders in the industry.
• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
• Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the Sacco’s products and services.
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
• Any other duties assigned by the management dealing directly with clients either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
Job specification/ person specification.
• Minimum education qualification Diploma in Co-operative Management, Banking, insurance, micro-finance or related course.
• At least two years’ working experience in sales and marketing in the Sacco, banking, insurance or micro-finance industry.
• Demonstrate ability to exceed target revenue goals, provide excellent customer service, build long-term relationships, and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Should have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as solid presentation skills.
• Minimum age 25 years – 35 years.
• Must be available immediately.
• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative.
• Computer literate
