As The JW Seagon Group continues to expand across East Africa our focus remains clear: to continue providing effective risk transfer solutions and market leading products that simplify insurance for our clients.

To support this expansion, we are delighted to announce we’re strengthening our General Broking leadership team with David Nolan stepping into the role of Chief Commercial Officer – General Broking, based in Nairobi effective 1st May 2026.

David has made a key impact since he joined JWS two years ago. Going forwards, he will play an important role in accelerating growth across our Retail, Corporate and Specialty Risk business — enhancing our market capabilities, deepening insurer partnerships, and supporting our teams to deliver even better outcomes for clients.

At the same time, Jeremy Clayton continues as CEO of our General Broking Division, remaining fully engaged in leading the business day-to-day. With David now supporting as CCO, we are excited about this strengthening of our leadership bench, which means more capacity, more access and more capability.

This past Saturday, we stepped away from our usual routine to spend the morning at Friends of Dagoretti Children, engaging with Form 4 and gap-year students on career pathways in insurance and beyond.
From qualifications to real-world insights, the conversations were honest, practical, and student led.
We are grateful for the partnership between JW Seagon and Friends of Dagoretti Children, and for opportunities like this to give back in a meaningful way.
