Vijana Wajiweza SACCO was started in April 2013 and registered duly on the 16th July 2013 under Co-operatives Society Act (CAP 490) of the laws of Kenya. Due to the high unemployment rate amongst the youth in Kenya, and low employment security in the official sector, VIJANA WAJIWEZA which is a Limited Company noticed the struggles of the youth and decided to bridge the gap thus formed the VIJANA W
AJIWEZA SACCO. Our main purpose is to enable its members get a vehicle where they can be able to mobilize their savings and get cheaper credits in order to meet their daily financially and social needs. Our second objective is to help, build educate and empower the youth through various projects which include Agricultural projects, ICT projects, Investment options, consultations and also engage ourselves in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Started in Nairobi where most of its founders originate from, VIJANA WAJIWEZA SACCO’s main goal is to work with the youth of Kenya which means expanding to all counties, and in the future the whole of Africa as a region. As VIJANA WAJIWEZA SACCO we expect to be part of development and contribute towards vision 2030. We will work with highly committed and dedicated members towards ensuring financial stability and security amongst its members and the youth in general, hence our Motto “Bridging financial dreams into reality”.
