Pastoralism provides much of the milk and meat consumed in Kenya, but faces a perilous future especially from climate change but also the lack of infrastructure and support programs in modernizing pastoralism.
Recent droughts have exacerbated the challenges, leading to conflict between pastoralist communities struggling to find enough forage and water for Livestock.
We are developing fresh ideas and support programs to help our communities modernize livestock management and build resilience to climate change challenges.
