We were honoured to welcome H.E. Ambassador Kang Hyung S*k and Madam Jiyoun Kim to the SBM Bank tent during the Nova Pioneer Annual Heritage Day 2026. The Ambassador and Madam Kim were accompanied by Nova Pioneer Executive Principal Tatu Primary, Christine Kathurima and were warmly received by Beth Muthui, Director Consumer Banking and other SBM representatives.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with learners, parents, educators, and fellow stakeholders while celebrating cultural diversity and community spirit.

A key highlight was showcasing the Busara Kids Banking App, our innovative platform designed to help children develop healthy financial habits through interactive and age-appropriate financial literacy tools. It was encouraging to see the enthusiasm from both parents and children as they explored ways to build financial knowledge from an early age.

At SBM Bank Kenya, we remain committed to empowering the next generation through financial education and meaningful community engagement initiatives that create lasting impact.
