FACTS Africa through Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF) has received funding from U.S. International Development Finance Corporation to help support women-led businesses in Kenya and Uganda who, unlike their male counterparts, have in the past had challenges accessing working capital. This financing will support the economic empowerment of women-owned enterprises and help to cushion their businesses against the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
