IMPORTERS, EXPORTERS AND FREIGHT OPERATORS – UPDATE
A few days ago I shared that several marine insurers are excluding war risks for vessels entering the Persian Gulf and parts of the Middle East. This has already started affecting cargo moving through those waters.
The good news is that a Marine War Risk solution is now available for vessels and cargo operating in high-risk areas.
If your shipments move through the Middle East, Red Sea or Persian Gulf, it may be worth reviewing your current marine policy to see whether war risks are excluded.
