Our CEO, Ngatia Muhoya, recently met with one of our investors and advisers, Mr. Gerald Macharia — Vice President, East & Southern Africa at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Non-Executive Director at the Kenya Social Health Authority (SHA), and former CEO of Faulu Microfinance Bank.

With Med Now receiving its regulatory compliance green light, discussions focused on fundraising and go-to-market strategies to accelerate our mission of delivering timely, tech-enabled financing to healthcare providers — ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to all all.

We welcome potential investors and partners who share our vision of strengthening healthcare access across Kenya.

We’re excited to share that Med Now has officially been licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya as a Digital Credit Provider (CBK License No. 82).

This milestone is more than regulatory compliance—it’s a strong validation of our mission to solve one of healthcare’s biggest challenges: access to working capital.

Joining a select group of Fin-Techs legally authorized to extend digital credit in Kenya, we’re now positioned to operate at full capacity and scale our impact.

A heartfelt gratitude to our incredible team, customers, stakeholders, and investors for making this achievement possible. We are excited for the journey ahead!

We’re grateful to have pitched as one of the top 10 companies at the Kenya Startup Summit 2024, part of Kenya Innovation Week, which was officially opened by H.E. President William Ruto.

It was an incredible experience sharing our vision for healthcare financing with a fantastic audience of government officials, industry leaders, investors, partners, and fellow entrepreneurs.

This past weekend, Med Now had the privilege of partnering with St. Paul's Catholic Chapel and other sponsors to host a free medical boot camp. It was inspiring to see the community unite to provide essential healthcare services, especially to the underserved- who often have to choose between putting food on the table and going for a health checkup.

This event demonstrated the incredible progress we can make towards Universal Health Coverage when we come together and pool our resources.

We connected with and learned from patients, healthcare professionals, clergy, volunteers, and sponsors, all who worked hard to ensure the event was a success.

We are looking forward to the next one as we continue our mission of strengthening healthcare systems-one medical provider at a time!
