A survey by EFG Hermes found Kenya's savings rate sits at around 12% - below Africa's average of 17%, and less than half what low-income countries typically save (26%).
Even Uganda and Tanzania, with lower incomes than us, save more... wueh 🥲
The report points to something real:
👉🏽 High spending power (especially among young people chasing a flamboyant lifestyle), and a deep disconnect between parents and children on money — very little mentoring, very little financial literacy passed down.

You see, "Wealth" doesn't start once you accumulate your first million.

We can't protect wealth we haven't built.
We can't pass on what was never saved in the first place.
