Here's to another Monday that's ended well.
God wanted to make David a king. He didn't give him a crown, he gave him Goliath. When God wanted to raise Joseph to the palace, he didn't give him a shortcut, he gave him prison. When God wanted to make Esther a queen, he didn't give her comfort, he gave her crisis. When God wanted to make Moses a leader, he didn't give him a stage, he gave him a wilderness.
Many times when we feel like God is breaking us, really He is building us. God doesn’t give us what we expect in life, He gives us what we need in order to become all that He created us to be.
When God wants to prepare you for greatness, He will not hand you a throne… He will hand you a test. He will not hand you applause… He will hand you opposition. He will not hand you ease… He will hand you endurance.
Because destiny is not shaped in the palace, but in the prison… not in the comfort of calm waters, but in the storms that teach you how to stand.
So if you find yourself in a season of pressure, pain, or pruning, don’t despise it. That is God’s classroom. That is where character is forged. That is where ordinary men and women are transformed into vessels fit for His purpose.
Remember this...what looks like a setback is often the setup. What feels like breaking is often the making.
And when God is done, you won’t just come out with the blessing, you will come out as the person He always intended you to be.
