I've been having Insomnia 😭😭😭since 12midnight just thinking of a very needy girl I met yesterday in Kinangop while attending my uncle's burial. We were catching up with my bro then a small beautiful girl came from nowhere and stood Infront of me staring at me nonstop for more than 10mins. (Sijui aliona nikiwa na nyota yake au nini).
I decided to say Hi to her and the conversation started........

Sikumbuki jina ya shule but all she told me was nilifukuzwa shule coz of school fees.
Ulikuja aje huku na Nani?
Nikiwa pekee yangu.
Unajua Nani Kwa hii Boma iko na mazishi?
Hakuna.
Wapi mamako?
Nilimuacha nyumbani akasema atakuja tukisikia mahali kuna mazishi ama shehere huwa tunaenda Sisi wote ili tukule.

The little poor girl was shivering.
This conversation disturbed me very much and I decided to talk to a mama standing near where we were asking her if she knows that kabi.
She said yes... it's like 5kms from the village the burial was.
I told her that I'd like to know more about the little poor girl coz even if I don't have money.... I'd like to pay her school fees for her to go back to school na k**a ningekuwa na uwezo woiye ningemchukua niende na yeye kwangu akasomee huko. I'd like to show her mother's love but sasa since sina uwezo please nitafutie anyone related to her, a neighbour or chief/sub chief.
She looked for a mama from that kabi and she happened to be one of the cooks. She gave the girl food and tea mark you the burial service was ongoing.
She gave me a brief history of the girl whereby she said that her mum and dad ni k**a hawako sawa.
Nikaitiwa uncle yake(bro to the girl's mum) who confirmed his sister (the little girl's mum) hayuko sawa upstairs.
Nikampatia kibarua ya kwenda shule aniulizie school fees arrears ni ngapi....anipee no. Ya mwalimu na sub chief/chief.
After some time, mama Wangari and her other children wakaonekana hapo Kwa barabara wakaitwa. They came to where we were and I started interviewing them.
Her 1st born is 19yrs who's a girl....she was in class 6 before COVID. COVID time she got pregnant while trying to look for food for them to eat and her sanitary towels 😭. Now she has a baby boy aged 1.6 yrs so hakurudi shule after COVID.
The 2nd born who's a boy is 14yrs who's in Grade 3.
3rd born is Wangari ( my beautiful gal) 12yrs in PP2.
And last born a girl who is 4yrs.
Mama Wangari told me alifukuzwa kwao na her bros vile mama Yao alikufa so she decided to get married again after she ran out of her 1st marriage coz the husband was beating her.
Chakula huwa anapika akiletewa na Mzee unga kilo moja ya sapa na lunch asipoleta wanakaa hivyo Kwa sababu ata vibarua ukienda anachapwa na bwanake.
I asked the mum if anaweza achiwa mjukuu wake amlea msichana wake (her 19 yrs 1st born) akiwezapata kazi ya nyumba awe anawatumia asaidizi. She said yes and the gal said she can work too if gotten a chance.
Please I'm appealing to you all my friends to come through for this family.
Mwenye anaweza ajiri huyo msichana anachukua amfundishe kazi na atajua apate pesa ya kusaidia mtoto wake, mamake and other siblings.
Mwenye anaweza saidia huyo mum apate birth certificates za watoto wote.
Mwenye anaweza saidia the 14yr boy na school fees arudi shule pia.
Mwenye anataka tusaidiane na yeye tusomeshee Wangari huku Nairobi .... I'll host her.
