Motor Insurance (Private or Commercial vehicles)

It’s compulsory for all motor vehicle owners to purchase insurance protection for their vehicles and to the public (this is because your vehicle can injure people or damage properties). The vehicle is covered in that in case of an accident, repairs or replacement of the vehicle will be taken care by the Insurer (comprehensive Insurance cover) however if the Insured has a Third Party Insurance cover the insurer is not liable to replace or repair his vehicle.

The policies are different as it’s the option of the client/insured to purchase the policy cover for their vehicles. Important point to note is the insured’s life and family are not protected in this insurance policy, thus an additional personal accident is however recommended.

Insurer may pay (not specified amount) to damage made by the insureds vehicles to other people’s property, they may have knocked down a gate, wall, tree. The policy is renewable yearly (subject to valuation of comprehensive cover) unless sale of vehicle the company will prorate the premium for the time of cover.

There are many exclusions, terms and conditions in the motor insurance so be sure to ask you Agent to get the best available cover.
