TOUKASAN Grand Festival, one of Hiroshima’s three major festivals, returns again this year🏮✨
Held every year on the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of June, this beloved festival is known locally as the beginning of summer in Hiroshima☀️
Centered around Enryuji Temple in downtown Hiroshima, the festival is also called “the festival where people begin wearing yukata,” and during these three days, the city fills with colorful summer kimono and festive energy✨
Alongside TOUKASAN, the Yukata-de-Kinsai Festival will also take place throughout the city center.
Enjoy yukata fashion shows, Bon dance events, parades, live performances, and more as the streets transform into a lively early-summer celebration✨
A paid yukata rental service for international visitors will also be available at Fukuro-machi Park from June 5–7, 1:00 PM–8:00 PM👘
Please note that traffic restrictions will be in place in parts of downtown Hiroshima during the festival period, so we recommend allowing extra travel time when visiting.

#広島 の初夏を彩る「 #とうかさん大祭」「 #ゆかたできん祭」が、いよいよ来週末開催👘✨
#とうかさん大祭 は、胡子大祭・住吉祭と並ぶ「広島三大祭」のひとつ。
毎年6月の第1金・土・日曜日に開催され、“浴衣の着始め祭”として親しまれてきました🏮
会場となる「とうかさん圓隆寺」周辺や市内中心部には、色とりどりのゆかた姿が広がり、広島の街が一気に夏らしい雰囲気に包まれます👘
また、「ゆかたできん祭」では、ゆかたファッションショーや盆踊り、パレードなど、街なかを舞台にさまざまな催しを開催予定✨
