At least €500 million is needed to repair the New Safe Confinement in Chornobyl. The EBRD is already mobilising international resources.

2026年3月2日（月）、国際通貨研究所（IIMA）が主催した第34回国際金融シンポジウム「岐路に立つグローバリゼーション～世界経済は分断を乗り越えられるか」に、Mark Bowman 副総裁がパネリストとして参加いたしました。
Markは、欧州が抱える複合的な課題とそれに対する多面的なアプローチ、そしてEBRDの具体的な価値と貢献について見解を共有しました。また、パネリスト間では地政学的分断が深まる中での国際経済の行方や、各国・国際機関が果たすべき役割について活発な議論が交わされました。
EBRDは、多国間協力の要として、各国・国際機関と連携しながら共通の課題解決に向けた取り組みを引き続き推進していきます。

2025年11月19日(水)、ロンドン本部より来日したSMEチームが財務省を往訪しました。その際、サブサハラ・アフリカの6ヶ国（ベナン、コートジボワール、ガーナ、ケニア、ナイジェリア、セネガル）における中小零細企業のグリーン、デジタル、包摂的な成長を支援するため、日本がEBRDのSmall Business Impact Fund（SBIF）へ200万ユーロ拠出することで合意しました。

同貢献は、本年8月に横浜で開催されたTICAD9に財務省と設置を合意した「日本－EBRD協力基金（JECF）」のアフリカ特別枠「STAR（Special Transition Allocation for Africa’s Resilience） 」を通じて行われます。

EBRDは日本との協力関係を深化し、民間セクター支援の知見を通じてアフリカの発展に寄与していきます。

2025年10月24日（金）、国際基督教大学（ICU）において、ロンドン本部からのリクルートメント・ミッション来日の機会を捉えたキャリアセミナーの第3弾を開催いたしました。

セミナーでは、大石一郎日本代表理事が冒頭挨拶を行い、小口一彦元事務局長からEBRDの活動概要等、人事部のStephen Halsteadからキャリアの機会や応募方法について説明を行いました。

お忙しい中60名を超える皆さまに聴講いただき、質問も多く有意義な時間となりました。今回のセミナーを通じて、EBRDが出席された皆さまの将来のキャリアの選択肢の1つとなりましたら幸いです。
