We are delighted that Ocorian's Jersey hockey team was crowned winner of the 2022 Corporate Hockey league! 🏑🏆

The team played eight games against Jersey's top corporate league teams and came out on top, scoring 4-0 in the final against T15.

Our top scorers during the league were Chrissie Hefford, Jamie Hodkinson, Ned Crosby, Simon Wade, Lisa Grant, and Oliver Cawley. Congratulations to all on the fantastic win!

On 8 July 2022, Kate Dowling, Gary Sherry and Seth Worthington from our Isle of Man office took part in the KPMG IOM relay. The team did very well and placed 26th out of 50 teams. Pictured here are Kate and Gary (unfortunately, Seth had to dash straight after his leg – pun intended)!

The funds raised from this popular and fun-filled charity event will be donated to help maintain and operate the facilities at Centre 21, a Manx campaign established by five local charities that support people with learning difficulties. Well done team Ocorian for supporting the Jersey Family Nursing & Home Care Colour Festival 2022!

Family Nursing & Home Care is a charity providing high-quality nursing and home care in the community from birth to end of life. As a charity, they are completely reliant on fundraising from events like these to continue providing their exceptional care services for the islanders of Jersey.

Hats off to the charity for the amazing work they do and to team Ocorian for supporting this incredible cause, whilst having fun in the process.

We were delighted to spend time with clients and colleagues last night at the impressive Salters Hall in their stunning acre-wide garden, a Roman heritage site containing a portion of the original London Wall.

We enjoyed conversation, canapes and champagne as the sun set across the city and heard from Chairman and CEO Frederik van Tuyll (pictured).

Thanks to everyone who made it a night to remember!

Our Ocorian eco volunteers recently rolled up their sleeves to take part in the “Keep Bermuda Beautiful” event, a litter clean-up superbly organised by the Bermuda Engagement Focus Group.
The volunteers eagerly got to work at the Parson’s Road basketball court and playground to do their bit for the environment and had a great time while being of service to both planet and people.
Well done team! We applaud and appreciate your efforts.

Cayman Jubilee Hattítude!

In honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, our Cayman office put on their best hats, as they partook in a first-ever “Hattítude” (hats with attitude) cash prize competition. They struck a pose and had their pics snapped, which were then submitted to a pre-selected panel for judging. After much deliberation, Gwen and Aidan were deemed the respective female and male winners, with Alice and Kareem coming close second.

We can certainly all agree that they looked very festive – hats off to everyone’s efforts!

Our Mauritius team stepped out in force last week to trek nine kilometres to the beautiful Senneville waterfall. They enjoyed some much-needed downtime together and shared their appreciation for the beauty of their island home.
This is just one example of our various team-building initiatives that run throughout the year, which stimulate employees and bring our team that little bit closer together.

With a focus on driving change and nurturing talent, we place people at our heart. That is why our Chairman and CEO, Frederik van Tuyll takes time out of his busy schedule to host a monthly virtual forum, which is open to any Ocorian team member to attend.

Frederik is an industry expert and these sessions are a chance to mine his insights into our business, industry – and larger economic forces at work – during small, open group discussions. It’s a safe space for our global team to tackle topics of priority to the business.
