We were delighted to attend Dementia Jersey’s afternoon tea yesterday at Government House.

A particular highlight was learning more about their recent ‘Reframing Dementia’ campaign, a photographic exhibition aimed at challenging preconceptions of dementia. The photos were displayed around the marquee, sharing the stories of people living with dementia and how they continue to live full and meaningful lives beyond their diagnosis, which was inspiring to read. There was also a raffle which raised an incredible £1,000 for the charity.

Dementia Jersey has been one of our chosen charities for a number of years, and we are proud to continue supporting their vital work to improve understanding of dementia and support people across the community.

Langham Hall vs Carey Olsen Padel Tournament 2026

Tuesday night was an exciting and competitive evening at Island Padel, with some great matches across the courts.

Congratulations to all the winners of the evening, and to Carey Olsen for coming out on top in the final and taking the bragging rights.

Events like this play an important role in strengthening relationships outside the workplace, both existing and new.

Yesterday, we were proud to sponsor an obstacle at the True Grit Wetwheels Challenge 2026 – the Langham Hall Sandpit Crawl.

Set in Ronez Quarry, the course put teams to the test across tough terrain and obstacles, with some sections up to 24 metres below sea level. The challenge supports Wetwheels Jersey a charity providing life changing access to the sea for people with disabilities through a fully accessible powerboat.

It was a brilliant day supporting an amazing local cause - well done to our team and everyone who took part. 👏
