We’re proud to once again support one of Jersey’s best-loved community events the Gorey Fete 🎉

This year, we’re delighted to be joined by Jersey Post - another proud local heritage brand - as co-sponsors, helping support an incredible event that brings Islanders together while raising vital funds for local charities.

Since 2018, the Gorey Fête and St Martin Bonfire have donated an amazing **£184,950** to local charities and community causes across the Island ❤️

At Jersey Mutual, we’re proud to support GROW Jersey and the amazing work they do in our community 💚

This weekend, the GROW team will be planting a whole row of squash plants - their main crop for local food banks this year - and they’re looking for some extra helping hands.

If any of our Members would like to get involved, the event is free to attend. Registration simply helps the team know how many people to expect.

It’s a great opportunity to support a local charity, meet new people, and help grow fresh produce for island food banks 🌱🎃

At Jersey Mutual – the home of home insurance – we’re proud to support local initiatives that make a real difference.

Following the storm that destroyed the poly tunnel GROW Jersey we contributed £2,000 to help get things back on track.

GROW are an organisation we’ve been proud to support since the very beginning.

GROW runs hundreds of community and school groups every week, helping to build a more resilient, connected island.

Their work relies on partnerships like these - and we’re delighted to play a small part in supporting it.

⚠️ Storm Safety Reminder ⚠️

With unsettled weather on the way, now’s the time to take a few simple steps to help protect your home and belongings:

🔒 Secure windows and doors
Make sure all windows and doors are firmly closed, including sheds and outbuildings.

🪑 Secure outdoor belongings
Tie down or move items such as bins, garden furniture, umbrellas, and trampolines. Store valuables indoors or under a sturdy structure.

🌧️ Check gutters and downspouts
Clear any leaves or debris to help manage heavy rainfall and reduce the risk of water damage.

🧰 Prepare an emergency kit
Include essentials like a torch, spare batteries, bottled water, non-perishable food, and a first-aid kit.

⚡ Know your utilities
Familiarise yourself with how to safely turn off electricity, gas, and water if needed.

A little preparation can make a big difference. Stay safe. 💙
