Family run restaurant in St Aubin’s inspired by Slovenian hospitality and fresh local ingredients.

At Ob Mizi (“At the Table” in Slovenian), we believe food brings people together. We’re looking for friendly, passionate and reliable people to join our growing team.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE• Front of House• Kitchen Staff• Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Service

HOURS AVAILABLE• Full Time – 30 Hours• Part Time – 15 Hours• 0 Hour / Flexible Help-Out Roles.

All levels of experience welcome.

Time goes so fast... it feels like it was yesterday.

For five incredible years, The Old Barn was more than just a brunch spot—it was our home, and you were our family. We watched friendships blossom over coffee and weekends start with a smile. When our lease came to an end, we knew it wasn’t the end of our story, just the beginning of a new chapter in St. Aubin.

That is how Ob Mizi was born.

In our language, Ob Mizi means "at the table." But to us, the table is so much more than a piece of furniture. It’s the heart of the home. It’s where we gather with family, where we share our day, and where we turn simple ingredients into lifelong memories.

We believe that eating out shouldn’t just be about the food; it should be about the moments that stay with you long after the plates are cleared. Memories are what we carry from our past, and they are what we build for our future.

We invite you to join us at our new home in St. Aubin. Let’s sit, let’s eat, and most importantly, let’s make new memories together—at the table.
