Fantastic and well deserved 👏🏼

It has been wonderful to see the community come together to nominate, vote for and celebrate so many local heroes as part of our ball drawer competition for the Million Pound Lottery! We are delighted to announce the winner, Gary Burgess - Journalist ⭐️

Gary was nominated as a Hospice Hero by several islanders, for his inspiring media work that has been appreciated by so many during the pandemic and throughout his career. He will be drawing one of the winning numbers at the Million Pound Lottery live draw on Friday 3rd September, where he will be part of changing someone’s life forever.

Thank you to everyone who joined in, and a special thank you to each nominee for all they have done to support others during the pandemic 💙
