We tried to go unnoticed but couldn't 😄 So many people have been talking about us these days, but here's something we're proud of and you absolutely can't miss:

These are great victories for a small team like us 🏆 but they remind us how much work there is to be done and how many great hopes are placed in this project. We are not alone, we have excellent institutions and partners who support us, but we know that the road is still long.

The community of Venywhere is taking shape, both on the Venetian territory and on the web. Despite the fact that we are still in the full testing and development phase, the number of subscribers to the platform has exceeded 2000 since a few days 🥂

A number that we would have never imagined a few months ago. We take this opportunity to thank you for your support and patience. Venywhere is a complex project but we will do our best to surprise you.

Our collaboration and research partnership with Cisco has started🤝

The company sent 16 employees to join the program and be part of the first pilot company team 💪🏻

They come from 4 different South European countries and will live in Venice for 3 months, exploring new workspaces and what the lagoon and its community have to offer 💜

Talents, technologies, and hybrid work are the main ingredients. The goal is to understand together how new work models will have an impact on the future of Venice ❕

Venywhere is a reflection of the city itself; it is based on a strong, supportive, interactive community of remote workers, local institutions, citizens, associations, partners and supporters that are going to be part of a newly born network of innovators 💡🤝

A few days ago this article came out in Bloomberg CityLab. For us on the Venywhere team, it's really exciting to read these words and feel this strong sense of community and appreciation for our project.

In the last three days almost 250 people have signed up to the beta testing of our platform, with lots of positive feedback, requests for help, offers of collaboration and even some very heartwarming messages of support and admiration.

We know that Venice has a lot to offer in terms of personal and professional growth, innovation, creativity and inclusivity. We will focus our efforts on creating a network and a community that is responsive and ready to welcome new talents and 'temporary citizens' to the city.

At the same time we will give vitality and support to open innovation projects, urban sustainability and local volunteering through the involvement of new remote workers, professionals and experts from various fields.

And of course we thank Catherine Frances Bennett for the article and for the amazing time we spent together here in Venice!
