Il premio ha una caratteristica interessante: 𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲, ma a un progetto da lei indicato. Infatti, per ciascuna delle tre categorie (imprenditoria e innovazione tecnologica, ambiente e ricerca, sociale e sport) è previsto un riconoscimento economico che la vincitrice destinerà a un progetto legato al mare, alla costa o alla blue economy, contribuendo così a generare un impatto concreto sul territorio e sul settore.

OMC Med Energy welcomes researchers, industry experts and companies to submit abstracts showcasing innovative technologies, digital solutions, case studies and practical applications driving the evolution of the energy sector.
The energy industry is undergoing a profound transformation, where technological innovation, digitalisation and new business models are becoming key enablers of efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness. From Artificial Intelligence and asset digitalization to advanced methodologies, LNG technologies, smart solutions and technology deployment, innovation plays a crucial role in translating ideas into operational impact.

Achieving climate goals requires the rapid deployment of technologies, business models and cross-sector collaboration that can accelerate decarbonisation while ensuring secure, reliable and affordable energy systems. From renewable energies and hydrogen to CCUS, energy storage, circular economy and sustainable fuels, technical innovation is essential to turning ambition into action.

As operational complexity grows and production systems become increasingly integrated with data and automation, the technical and scientific community plays a key role in developing methodologies and technologies that enhance performance, improve reliability, ensure safety and reduce operational variability.
